Stock and music attributions

Stock footage and photos

The app searches these libraries for footage and photos, through our server. Each item comes under its provider’s licence.

• Pexels, under the Pexels License.
• Pixabay, under the Pixabay Content License.

Both licences allow free use, including commercial use, without asking. Both have limits: for example, you may not suggest that a person shown endorses a product, or sell an item unaltered on its own. We credit both libraries here, and ask you to follow their licences in what you publish.

Music and sound effects

• Music is found through Openverse, a search engine for openly licensed works. RapidCreate uses the Openverse API and is not endorsed by Openverse. Each track is under a Creative Commons licence or is in the public domain, chosen by its creator; Openverse doesn’t check that licence information.
• Sound effects are your own: the app doesn’t search a sound effects library.

Creative Commons licences differ. Some require credit to the creator (BY), some forbid commercial use (NC) or changes (ND), and some require your finished work to carry the same licence (SA). The app shows each item’s licence next to it, and by default it lists only music that allows commercial use and changes. Check the licence before you publish, and credit the creator where it asks you to.
