In short
- If a video or post fails, the credit held for it comes back on its own. You don’t need to ask.
- Edits, re-renders, restyles and exports never cost credits, so there is nothing to refund.
- Money refunds follow our terms and consumer law, and are paid through our payment provider, Stripe.
Credits for failed work
When you start a job, such as Generate writing five videos or the Post Studio writing a post, we hold the credits it needs. We take a credit only for each video or post we actually write.
If a job fails (the AI service is down, the request times out, or the result can’t be used), the credits held for it are returned to your balance automatically. If only part of a job succeeds, you pay only for the part that did: ask for five videos, get three, and you pay three credits.
If the app closes or loses its connection in the middle of a job, credits held for work that was never finished are released automatically.
When a result isn’t what you wanted
A video or post that was written but isn’t to your taste is not a failure, and its credit isn’t refunded. But changing it is usually free: you can edit it, change its look, swap footage or music, re-render and export as often as you like, because all of that happens on your computer.
If your credits look wrong
If you think a credit was taken for work that failed, or your balance looks wrong, email support@rapidcreate.io from the address on your account. We keep a record of every job, so we can check what happened and put it right.
Money refunds
Plans are paid monthly through our payment provider, Stripe. When you cancel, your plan stops renewing and stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Credit packs are paid once. If a pack is refunded, the credits left from it are removed.
We refund payments where our Terms of service or consumer law require it, for example if you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or charged after you had cancelled. We may also refund in other cases at our discretion.
Your right to cancel. If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a legal right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. If you ask us to start providing the service during that time and then cancel, we may deduct an amount for what you have already received, such as credits you have used, as the law allows.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@rapidcreate.io from the address on your account, and tell us which payment it is about and why. We’ll reply, and if a refund is due, we’ll issue it through Stripe to the payment method you used. How long it takes to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider.
Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. It is usually quicker for you.
