About these terms
These terms apply when you use rapidcreate.io, create a RapidCreate account, buy a plan or use the RapidCreate app. By doing any of those, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use RapidCreate.
They work together with our Privacy policy, Acceptable use policy, Refunds policy and Cookies policy. The prices, plans and credit rules on our pricing page also form part of them.
Who we are
RapidCreate (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the website at rapidcreate.io and the RapidCreate app. RapidCreate is run by a business based in the United Kingdom.
You can reach us at support@rapidcreate.io.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with your email address. We send email sign-ins a link and a one-time code; there are no passwords.
- You must be at least 18 to create an account.
- Give us an email address you control, and keep access to it secure. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
- An account is for one person. Don’t share it, and don’t sell or transfer it.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including on any computer you have signed in to the app.
- You can see the computers signed in to your account, and sign any of them out, from your account page.
If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away at support@rapidcreate.io.
The app and the website
RapidCreate is a desktop app that makes short vertical videos, single posts and carousels, together with this website and the server that the app talks to.
The app does most of its work on your computer: it cuts, captions, brands and renders videos there, and keeps your projects, brands and media there. It uses our server for the work that needs AI, such as writing a video or a post, and to search stock libraries.
While you have an account, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app to make content for yourself or your business. What needs a plan is set out under Plans and credits. We may release updates, and some features may need the latest version to keep working.
Plans and credits
Our plans, their prices and the credits each includes are on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.
What a credit buys. One credit makes one new video (each video written by Generate is one) or one new post (a single post or a whole carousel; each post in a Bulk run is one).
When credits are spent. When you start a job, we hold the credits it needs. We take them only for the videos or posts we write. If a job fails, the credits held for it are returned to your balance automatically. If you ask for five videos and three are written, you pay for three.
What is free. Editing, re-rendering, restyling, changing footage or music, and exporting happen on your computer and never cost credits. Some other free features use our server, and those are subject to fair-use limits so that the service stays available to everyone.
Credits are not money. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money, and can’t be transferred to another account. A plan’s credits last for the month they are granted in: when the plan renews, a fresh set replaces any that are unused.
Credit packs. While you have a plan, you can buy extra credits in packs, paid once. Pack credits don’t expire and are spent after your plan’s credits. You need an active plan to spend them; if your plan ends, they stay on your account until you start one again. Closing your account deletes any credits left.
Your first videos and post. An account that has never had a plan can make one run of up to 5 videos and write one post without credits. Each is offered once for each person, account and computer, and we may refuse or withdraw it where we believe it is being claimed more than once.
Without a plan. You can still edit and export on your computer. Videos you export carry a small RapidCreate mark, and you can keep 1 brand of your own, until you have a plan.
Invites. While you have a plan, you can share an invite link. A friend who creates an account with it, and who has never paid for a plan, gets 10 extra credits with their first paid month. Once their first payment has stood for 14 days without a refund or a dispute, and while you have a plan, you get 25 credits. Invite credits last 6 months, are spent after your plan’s credits, and need an active plan to be spent. We count at most 20 rewards a month for one account; any beyond that wait for the next month. Inviting yourself (a second account of your own, the same computer or the same payment card) or sending invites as spam doesn’t count, and we may take back credits earned that way. We may change or end invites at any time; credits already earned stay.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. If Stripe’s checkout shows you terms of its own, they apply to the payment as well. We don’t see or store your full card details.
- Renewal. Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then it stops renewing.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we’ll tell you by email before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause your plan until it succeeds.
- Taxes. Prices may have tax added, depending on where you live. Checkout shows the full amount before you pay.
How refunds of money work is set out in our Refunds policy.
Acceptable use
You must use RapidCreate in line with our Acceptable use policy. In short: nothing illegal, no impersonation, no spam, no deceptive advertising, and nothing that infringes someone else’s rights.
Your content
“Your content” means what you put into RapidCreate (hooks, brand details, logos, your own photos, videos and music) and what you make with it.
- You own your content. As between you and us, you keep all rights in your content. We claim no ownership of it.
- You give us what we need to run the service. When the app sends something to our server, such as a hook and your brand details to write a video, you allow us and our processors to use it for that request only. We don’t keep it afterwards, and we don’t use it to train AI models. Our Privacy policy explains this in full.
- You need the rights to what you upload. Only use logos, photos, videos, music and likenesses you own or have permission to use.
- You are responsible for what you publish. That includes following the rules of the platforms you post to, advertising and consumer law, and any duty to label content as an advert or as made with AI.
AI-generated output
RapidCreate uses AI models to write scripts, posts, hooks and captions, and to choose footage. Please keep in mind:
- AI output can be wrong, out of date or unsuitable. It can state things as facts that aren’t true. Review everything before you publish it, especially claims about products, prices, health, money or the law.
- AI output may be similar to output made for other people, and it may not be protected by copyright in every country.
- We don’t promise any result from publishing your content, such as views, followers or sales.
Stock media and music
The app can find footage, photos and music in third-party libraries: Pexels, Pixabay and Openverse. Each item comes under its provider’s licence, not from us.
- Pexels and Pixabay items come under their own free licences. They don’t allow, for example, suggesting that a person shown endorses your product, or selling an unaltered copy of the item.
- Music comes under Creative Commons or similar licences, which differ item by item. Some require credit to the creator, some forbid commercial use or changes, and some require your finished work to carry the same licence. The app shows each item’s licence. Check it before you publish.
You are responsible for following those licences. Our attributions page links to each licence.
Our rights in RapidCreate
RapidCreate itself (the app, the website, our server, the looks, templates, designs and our brand) belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don’t give you any right in it beyond using it as described here.
You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it. You may not use our server other than through the app and the website, or build a competing product from it.
Changes to RapidCreate and to these terms
RapidCreate will change over time. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important that you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using RapidCreate after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your plan and stop using RapidCreate.
Suspending or closing an account
You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may suspend or close an account, or refuse a job, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms or the Acceptable use policy, puts other people or the service at risk, or if the law requires us to. Where it is appropriate, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to put things right. If we close your account for a reason other than your breaking these terms, we’ll refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Our responsibility to you
We provide RapidCreate with reasonable care and skill. Because AI output, third-party libraries and the platforms you post to are outside our control, we can’t promise the service will always be available, error-free or suitable for every purpose.
If you use RapidCreate as a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content of yours because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. You have legal rights about services and digital content that these terms don’t affect.
If you use RapidCreate for your business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect loss. Our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom where we are registered, and the courts there can hear any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@rapidcreate.io. Most problems can be solved quickly that way.
