Type a topic and get opening lines in seven proven formulas, each with a score and the reasons behind it. No sign-up, and nothing leaves your browser.
Type a hook, or choose one from the list, to see its score and the reasons behind it.
01
A few words is enough: “meal prep”, “cold emails”, “home workouts”. The formulas are filled in with it.
02
Hooks are sorted by score. Choose one and it moves to the box below, where you can rewrite it in your own words.
03
Every score lists what helped and what hurt, so you know what to change. Rewrite until it reads as Strong.
The score is a set of rules you can read, not a guess. A hook starts at 50. It gains points for being quick to read (4 to 12 words), for using a proven formula, for speaking to the viewer, and for a concrete figure. It loses points for a preamble (“In this video…”), for shouting in capitals, and for being too long to read before the viewer scrolls on.
These are the same rules RapidCreate applies to every hook you type into it. They read English hooks only.
A question the viewer wants answered. A count that promises a list. “POV:”, which puts the viewer in the scene. A command. A mistake or a myth, which people stop to check. A contrarian turn. And a plain “how to” or “why”.
A formula is a starting point. The hooks here are filled in from your topic by pattern, so treat them as drafts and make each one say something only you would say.
| Formula | Example |
|---|---|
| Question | What if you’re doing meal prep wrong? |
| Count | 3 mistakes you’re probably making with meal prep |
| POV | POV: you finally figured out meal prep |
| Command | Stop overthinking meal prep |
| Mistake or myth | The mistake with meal prep that costs you the most |
| Contrarian | Nobody tells you this about meal prep |
| How to or why | How to get better at meal prep in 30 seconds |
The first line of a short video: the words a viewer hears or reads in the first second or two. Its only job is to earn the next few seconds, so it should say what the video is about and why to stay.
Short enough to read at a glance. This tool scores 4 to 12 words highest, treats 13 to 16 as readable, and takes points off beyond that.
No. The hooks are your topic set into fixed formulas, and the score is a list of rules. Both run in your browser, which is why the tool needs no account.
Yes. All three open a video the same way, with a second or two to earn attention, so one hook serves all three.
